The new magazine poll named Depp as the number one entertainer and also claimed that he has become such a big name in the showbiz world that he can afford to ‘do anything he wants’.
The Entertainment Weekly list recorded the estimated fortune of the actor to be 5.9 billion dollars excluding his cameo and animated roles.
Meanwhile, pop queen Lady Gaga secured the second position on the list with her 5.1 million earning from the sales for her music albums.
The third spot is conquered by Oprah Winfrey while Simon Cowell and Will Smith made it in the top five.
The other celebrities who made it in the top 10 list include, Robert Downey, Jr, Sandra Bullock, Leonardo DiCaprio and Eminem.
