The news floating for the past week has now been officially confirmed. Arjun Rampal will no longer be part of the cast for the much talked, much-awaited Farhan Akhtar directed Don 2. Earlier today, confirming the news, Arjun Rampal tweeted, "Hey Guys, Yes it is true won't be part of Don 2. Wish the team all the success I am sure it will be a super film".

Unlike many associations in Bollywood, where partings aren't on a very pleasant note, Arjun's exit from the film is on very cordial terms with his director. Apparently, Arjun and Farhan developed creative differences regarding the script and the role, and so decided it was best to part ways.
